To find industry information:

1) Find a NAICS code related to your industry

2) Search Statista Industry and Market Reports with your industry name OR search business databases and the Canadian Industry Statistics database with your NAICS code

Find your NAICS code with this search tool: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Canada 2022 Version 1.0

NAICS codes are industry-specific codes up to six numbers in length. NAICS codes are used in many business databases and search tools. A short NAICS code refers to a large industry sector. A longer NAICS code refers to a more specific subsector.

For example:

  • 11 - Agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting
  • 111 - Crop production
  • 1111 - Oilseed and grain farming
  • 111110 - Soybean farming
